Art trade pieces: Zero

Pictured are a collection of limited palette pieces made for an art trade I did for a classmate at university of their original character, Zero. Fighting against characters inspired by the Zombieland film franchise with a misprinted look akin to that of the Sony Animation Spider Verse movies. In addition there is also the model sheet, the first piece created for the trade as I wanted to get myself accustomed to Zero and their various design elements.

Beetlejuice Musical Fanart

In preparation for my visit to MCM London Comic Con (October 2024), I created these pieces as a gift for broadway actor Alex Brightman who appeared as a guest at the convention. This is specifically inspired by the ending to the show where Beetlejuice kills his mother, Juno by riding in on a sandworm, effectively saving Lydia from being taken to the Netherworld!
Suffice to say, Alex loved the artwork and even let me keep one of the prints with his autograph on it.

Pit Magazine editorial project

These were made for a 'Competitions & Live Briefs' project during my final year at Ravensbourne where I had the privilege of meeting Holly Catford of Pit Magazine. The theme of the project was between either Beans or Sandwiches
Cover Illustration - An abstract piece depicting DNA composed of beans
Full Page Illustration - Inspired the video game franchise 'Worms' and the animations commonplace in bowling alleys; I wanted to take something as simple as the phrase "Spilling the beans" and really exaggerate it while making use of the simplicity so I thought it would be fun to depict the beans being deployed from a flying tin can.
Spot Illustration - Based on the Ancient Greek "Pebble voting" system. Additionally I expanded on this aesthetic by designing the scales to look like the pillars of those times as well as using a limited palette, similar to pottery of the time.
